the problem is the cooling fan from the processor gets clogged with dust, dirt, baby seals, etc. so you have to take the whole piece apart, clean it out, and your good for a few weeks and repeat.

if you dont have a sony, could be the same thing. just google the make/model and "over heat" and you should find some answers

Nah, it's an emachines (yes crappy I know). I'm going to have to google it tho to see. It's prob. will have some of the same things people said on here. GFYer's are smart
