Try namcheap...there is also no crazy advertising hell as you can see at godaddy. Godaddy looks like the milliondollarpage with bigger icons.
you said it, i don't know why i keep my domains there, i guess it is such pain to transfer .name or .us anywhere else, guess what i got those at godaddy, i think they make it difficult so you stay, i already got some registrars in mind

for all you guys that have domains at godaddy, wait until you have a problem, maybe it's me with less than 100 domains, some of you guys with thousands of domains probably get your ass kissed every day by godaddy. pray that no one noticed your whois info is off by a digit or a word, cause they will tack your ass with adminsitration fees, that's by the domain, $9.95 times your domains (100-1000) that could be a serious loss.

and i also emailed them, told them if i was to pay this $9.95 fee i might as well transfer it out and just pay another registrar and contact my credit card company and prevent godaddy from charging my card, same thing.

yes i see their hosting listed on some tgps, it's pretty weak.
