I see nothing wrong with this on it's face.

When I worked for a photo processing lab years ago (BEFORE digital cameras were invented), we were required to report any cp type illegal activity present in the customers pictures to law enforecement. And it did happen, although rarely.

They're talking about SEEING an ILLEGAL image and THEN gathering the data. Makes sense to me.

Any form of data gathering COULD be exploited, but I dont think fear of that should get in the way of common sense.
