It amazes me how much time and energy the media, people, and forums such as this spend on a celebrity death while other actual tragedies seem to go "under the radar"...

She died, it's a shame for her daughter that she losses her mother but lets not kid ourselves by thinking this is considered a tragedy or all this media attention is justified. She was an adult who made questionable choices in her life and we see a dozen threads and news reports on her. Shame the same amount of energy and resources can't be spent on events/people that actually warrant it.
