My name is Yan and after 9 years of dedicated service, four of the very few remaining Xpics employees have recently been laid off. We live and will be around the Tahoe festivities this weekend, hence what prompted this announcement.
First of all, I'm looking for work, full or part time.
I was VP of Operations for Xpics for the last 5 years and project manager before that. You might have known us as Global Reach Inc, the name we adopted around 2000, or under several of our DBA's listed below.

As you can see I'm pretty well versed in managing lots of different projects and you can see my full resume at
http://www.yancampbell.com. I do require telecommuting work because my roots are pretty set here in South Lake Tahoe. I have been managing teams around the world for 3 years now and I'm quite efficient with working from home. I have a business degree from UMASS and tons of management experience. I'm a geek, I can code html by hand, handle intensive graphic design projects & simple flash designs, setup scripts, etc. I'm also excellent at sales, marketing and helping team cohesion and communication, especially over long distances.
Anyway, for the Xpics news. After Xcash closed it's doors, we pursued the Purefuck program and it's famous audio ads and earned a lot of money with Web1000 and Xxx.com. A few years ago, we sold web1000.com, sold our controversial Ideaflood patent portfolio and got rid of xxx.com in order to finance Brian's new idea: Red Light Center
http://www.redlightcenter.com. It has been a pretty big hit and I wish Brian luck in his "new" venture, in dev for 3 years now.
For the hundreds of people who have spent some time being employed at Xpics, the end of an era is upon us. Brian is moving all of his operations to British Columbia in order to operate under less strict regulations. The XPICS OFFICE IS FINALLY CLOSING!! Many of you thought it'd been over for a long time but nope...we've been operating quietly and successfully on the sidelines, albeit much smaller, since day 1, in the same office, still with Brian as our boss but with me calling many of the day to day operational shots. Anyway, I felt that I couldn't hide the last 9 years of my life anymore, especially since I need work, so there you have it!
If anyone is interested in my design, sales or project management skills, give me a shout. I'll answer any questions you may have unless it's too confidential, I have respect for Brian and don't wish to get in any disagreements with him over this post. I'll also be at Harvey's tonight if anyone wants to chat in person.
