Then the encoding to wmv in the third party app also takes many hours as I described above. Or lately I tried to combine the deinterlace step with the encoding. Either way it takes way too long!

YAh I never use the right click .. when you export your file (ctrl + M) go in advance settings (sorry my adobe copy is in $#@$ french) under video and rendering .. chose De interlace .. that'll save you from right clicking everytime
