Yeah Vid, to deinterlace in Premiere Pro the best way is to right click each clip in the timeline and select "always deinterlace", then hit enter to render. That process alone takes a few hours, maybe three or four hours for a 35 minute video.

Then the encoding to wmv in the third party app also takes many hours as I described above. Or lately I tried to combine the deinterlace step with the encoding. Either way it takes way too long!
