Exactly, they either transmit the signal or they don't. There's no difference between a $6 dollar HDMI cable found here, or a $300 Monster Cable. Monster Cables are the biggest rip off and total scam. If you think there's a difference, buy them both and have someone mix them up so you don't know which one is which and connect them. You will never see the difference.
