I not only have to upgrade my cable box to a HD digital cable box but also spent another $400 on just HDMI and Fiberoptic cables. If you are using an LCD screen you will see pixaltion on non digital channels if you use S video or component, but using HDMI will fix that problem. Aleast it did for me.
You can buy the monster HDMI cables for abut $49.99 , they well fine.

That's what I have right now... monster HDMI 1081i cables... Is it just me or is there a transmission issue? The rez goes from sharp to pixelated edges. I guess I have to return the cables and get a replacement.
