I dont think they would do as well as ya think rolling around on the ground with multiple people involved. Ive seen top of the line hot head NCAA wrestlers get their asses kicked by a group of 2-3 street negros in the park blocks by the mall.

He didnt look too tough outside his 1 on 1 element.

He did stick to his method of staying on the ground though as he was getting his head kicked in.

The best fighting skills are ones that can adapt to different environments. Back in the day of hand to hand combat, the Asain martial arts ruled. It was war. Multiple warriors fighting all at once. Not sure how well a grapler on the ground would do in a war situation of this fighting era of the past, back when hand to hand combat was the way of war.

Obviously these kung-fu and Karate styles are now obsolete for lacking the abilty to evolve and adapt to this newest craze of in ring one on one fighting, but dont think that the 1 on 1 ring fighting you see on UFC can adapt to well to an outside environment and display the same results as it could in a ring either.

Putting these 3 in a no holds barred street fight would be intresting. Maybe throw in a Navy Seal or someone trained to handle multiple oppenents to the mix and we got outselves a fight!

But Id have to agree, Tito is a beast.. Id put my $$ on him too, but I dont think he's a sure bet in a situation like this as you may think.

Here's the difference. Tito is not a pure wrestler. Out of the three, he is by far the most well rounded fighter. He can punch if he needs to (just look at Shamrocks face) and he can certainly go to the ground and do damage. He might not be the BEST wrestler or the BEST boxes, but he is good enough at both to stand his ground long enough to do damage....imho

I agree that in a 2 on 1 situation, nothing is for sure. One direct kick to the head and the fight is over. But, I definitly think Tito would have the overall advantage.

With Roy's lack of grapling knowledge, Tito could probably break one of his joints very quickly, totally disabling him and then it becomes 1 on 1. Only takes about 2 seconds to put someone in an arm bar if they don't know what they are doing.

A friend of mine who I used to train with actually got jumped by two guys. He brought one to the ground quickly, but kept the guy on top of him, which protected him from the other guy for the most part (although he did get kicked a couple of times). After he choked the first guy unconcious, the other guy ran.

Not saying that would happen with the three bad asses we're talking about, but I still think Tito would have the clear advantage.

It would be awesome to see some multi fighter matches, although I think there are only a handful of guys who are tough enough to do it. If they just threw in one at the end of every UFC, that would definitly send the ratings through the roof!
