Just to close this thread:
I've spoken with Marko and I think all parties agree that this whole experience can be chalked up to a wayward check (sometimes a problem with mail going from the US to Europe).
BumbleCash has always paid on time; even Marko can attest to that:
"...I know that she sent the checks out because I never missed one and they were always in my mailbox on time and I'm totally satisfied with the people at Mac&Bumble. Probably the October check got lost and I think that the November check should be here in a few days."
