I have IE 6 and WMP 9. how exactly do you stop WMP from opening when you enter www.blah.net/file.avi into the address bar of IE?

Is there some secret setting? cause this shit is driving me insane!

I wanna get the file save prompt. I would have assumed that going to Tools > plugins > options and unticking AVI under file types would work but that un-associated AVI not just in the plugin but everywhere else. Even so, doing that cause IE to download it without giving me any prompt.
