It was quite funny originally when he was unknown and could get away with interviewing / taking the piss out of politicians, but there's no variety to his act and it gets stale after a while.

I don't know man, I have me own personal Julie in Colchester so I spend a bit of time in those parts every year. I rarely see anything that comes close to Ali. I see it a little too often over here though. Waaaaaaaaaay too often.
He should be about over in the UK since you are right about him not being able to catch anyone off guard anymore since he's so famous. The only hope for him is expansion to other places like Australia and here in the US.
