I love Keifer, but he just dropped a few points in my eyes. I grew up where you don't wear a hat inside.
Watching The Apprentice a few weeks ago and some of the contestants wore hats into the board room (from their "job" at a local taco joint). First thing he did was tell them, in disgust, to remove their hats.
I usually can't stand The Donald, but it's good to know he was raised with some manners
As far as celebs, both of my cousins are local news anchors and are recognized quite frequently when they go out. Most people will just mumble, but the obnoxious ones are the ones who walk to the table and talk for 10 minutes or so! Another thing I was raised not to do was eat when someone was visiting your table so my cousins and I usually end up watching our food go cold while they are trying to be polite, lol.
I went to HS with John Scheider (sp) and when the Dukes of Hazzard was in prime form, he would come and have drinks in the bar I worked in and then go and party with us. I'd feel embarassed for him because here he was back home, going to small local parties, and still getting mobbed.
As a result of living vicariously through them, I NEVER approach someone famous. Just not cool, IMO.
