it has nothing to do with the diet. some dogs do it for attention. some dogs do it to mimic their mother's behavior. the best way to stop it is to make sure the dog goes in an out of the way area and move him from the spot quickly when he's finished. he SHOULD get the idea that it's something he doesn't want to be around.

it's a behavioral issue not a diet issue.
