As far as me somehow facilitating .XXX to get approved - heh, as if I have that kinda power - thanks, I'm flattered.
Believe it or not, no one within the adult industry has the power to get .XXX approved.
What XBIZ has done is facilitate an open dialogue with a TLD that may get approved and has the power to impact our industry.
We can either turn a blind eye or instead try to learn about its plans, ask questions and do whatever we can to influence its direction for the best interest of the industry - I along with many others prefer the latter, as is evident in the number of folks attending the event.

Gawd you sound like a political statement Alec...
Your concern for the adult industry is awesome, together with your assumptions that a .XXX TLD will get approved, - but, that was not the question which was raised.
The question was whether you personally support the proposal for .XXX TLD's and whether any businesses which you own, or have any interest in, are possibly going to recieve funds from the sale of the proposed new .XXX TLD's.
Regarding the courtesy XBiz has extended to Lawley, an individual who is not even in this industry, by giving him a platform to spew his views is most gracious. I'm sure Stuart will be appreciative of the credence kindly granted by XBiz and that he will, like always, be an open book and explain all his "plans" and expound his moral values and concerns for the children of this planet. XBiz have excelled themselves and the only saving grace is that XBiz do not represent the adult industry.
On the topic of "turning a blind eye" - this does appear to fall more within your province when you are unable to state whether you support the introduction of .XXX TLD's or not. It must be a hard decision.
