I had mine pulled when I was 18... they were too big and started to make it hard to open my mouth... they touched in the back.
When they pulled my teeth out, the roots were huge and looked like pincers.. there was actually a little piece of bone inside the roots on every tooth!
I only had local anesthetics (sp?). And my doctor was a little 120 pound chinese man. He had such a hard time ripping my teeth out.
I was lucky tho - was bruised badly but not in much pain at all. 10 days later, everything was healed over
