First off, Valtrex is an antiviral, not an antibiotic, seeing how HSV/herpes is a virus. To be even more of a stickler, Valtrex tablets are now increasingly being used as HSV-1 (oral herpes, otherwise known as cold sores) treatment. Anyway if I were to put my money on it, I'd say it's being used for the herpes down below!
