That IS a serious issue. I believe Nietzsche wrote a treatise exploring the same issue. In it he quoted earlier ruminations on cinammon vs mint by Spinoza, Abelard, Thomas Aquinas, and Maimonides. Unfortunately, the issue is still unresolved to this day. Sadly reminiscent of the whole Sunni vs. Shia tiff.
