Saddam had WMD alright, and a massive program to hide 'em. Read accounts of the UN weapons inspectors as they were jerked around for years. Weapons inspectors came in the front gate, and heavily laden trucks rolled out the back gate. Gee, I wonder what they were carrying?
Read about Georges Sada, one of Saddam's generals who said that Iraqi WMD were shipped off to Syria.
Wake up!

wake up?
i am awake. i am from a country with the worlds most sophisticated military and sophisticated intelligence operations... that claimed to know everything in extreme detail before the fact and apparently (according to you as well) couldn't figure out what was going on AFTER the fact. that in itself doesn't add up.
no one disputes what Saddam Hussein DID. what he did was not the basis for going to war. the basis for the war, as argued before the world was that he was an immenent threat and a lot of details were given about weapons and weapon systems that couldn't be found.. yet were the reason for going in. they have intelligence on the ground telling the US Military where he is eating lunch... yet all the surveillance capabilities couldn't detect all these elusive WMD's being moved around?
hmmmm.. weird.
