P.S. I have sponsored a child before, I have donated money to WWF and no thats not wrestling. And I have done what I can to get hunters to see that what they are doing is not a sport but just murder.

people pretend to care. people pretend to be outraged and upset. they do it to feel better about themselves as they go on about their day eating Doritos, drinking pepsi, playing Halo and getting fatter. the world is full of bigger tragedy and suffering and more important problems than how animals are butchered for food.
and your wrong. the world sees videos all the time on CNN and elsewhere of wholesale genocide. Rwanda was the best example... 2,000,000 men, women and children being butchered to death... piles of little kids arms and legs etc etc.. and it barely makes the news. The UN wouldn't even call it genocide because that would have meant getting involved by law. people don't give a fuck when its actual people suffering... people don't give a fuck when they are watching news reports of Darfur and people being raped and tortured and killed daily. people don't care when Somalians are starving to death, UN aid is going to warlords. people don't care when their engagement ring kills little kids in Sierra Leone... but god forbid... god forbid some dolphins get killed for food in Japan. now thats serious. thats a REAL problem. we need to get right on that. we need to boycott Japan because God knows... the Emporor will be forced to send letters like "dear gallery submitter, please buy more CD players.. your sadly pathetic and symbolic fake protest, feel good boycott is destroying one of the largest economies on the planet".
