i used to hunt quite a bit... but one time my father went on a Buffalo hunt in Montana and ended up shooting a buffalo that was 3rd in the record books. basically they just chased it in a ford bronco across the prairy until it could't run anymore and shot it. i had to walk into our house everyday with this big fucking buffalo head mounted on the wall next to the door. its hard to imagine the size ... but imagine someone taking a huge refrigerator/freezer and mounting it to your wall lengthwise. that was the first time when i really stopped and gave serious thought to how totally retarded hunting was if you are not going to eat the animal. brown bears are shot for the hide only. i dont know what it costs today, but it used to be 15-20K just for the hunt itself ... not including all the other costs (transportation there, room and board, the taxidermy fees etc) .. and they were shot for no other reason than to just be able to say "yeah, i went to alaska and shot this. we were walking through the brush, i heard a noise and looked up and this huge brown bear was charging us, snorting and growling and trying to kill us.. i shot it and it died at my feet - we were so lucky" ... which is the standard story.

at about 21, i sold every single gun i had. 1000's of dollars worth of hand guns, shotguns, rifles, assault rifles etc because all of the sudden it all left a bad taste in my mouth.

it just seemed rediculous to kill something you don't intend to eat... even more rediculous to kill something with a rifle just to have the right to tell other people that you killed it. it really did kind of make me sick.

but killing a dolphin for food? sure, they are cute. but in this case, they are cute food. its not like they were tortured for 6 weeks and then slowly executed... for fun. being driven somewhere in a truck and having your throat slit so you blood is pumped out of your body in 5-6 heart beats isn't exactly "inhumane" in my opinion. there is no good way to die.

the very sad thing about fucking white people is that you care about a seal... you care about a dolphin. it just makes you sick to see one hurt. it makes you puke... you just can't watch.. you are angry... BUT you don't give a shit if 2,000,000 africans are butchered. you could care less if 300K people have died in Darfur. you don't give a fuck what other attrocities are being committed around the globe and how much people are suffering and how many die. You don't give a fuck if your 20,000.00 diamond engagement ring bought AK-47's for 10 year old child soldiers to keep fighting. That my friends is hypocrisy at its finest. its pathetic. its sick. its misguided and i think it can be safely argued that allowing 5 year old kids to get their arms and legs hacked off while their parents are tortured, raped and shot, is a lot fucking worse than what can happen to a stupid fucking fish.

people get so fucking emotional about an animal. how many people have you helped? how much actual suffering and pain have you alleived in your life? how many little girls who needed a new liver or heart did you help save or pay for an operation? how many starving children do you sponsor? ... NONE. but jesus... don't kill an animal... thats wrong. thats worth fighting for.

give me a fucking break. i have never understood why white people hate people and love animals... and then talk about "inhumane behaviors"
