I support a system, that keeps American citizen from falling into despair and cluttering the streets. I don't want to step in the homless shit on my way to earn a buck or smell the stench in the street. When I lived in New York city I would have gladly paid some extra taxes to get the homless a place to shit instead of the sidewalk.
Poverty has an impact on the quality of life of all American, welfare is the price we pay to limit this impact. The leaders of our country devised this system and you propose that you are more wiser than they and they fucked up.
Without welfare the crime rate would soar into outter space and you'd be shot in the back of the head for $20 as soon as you used an ATM.
The government knows this and the "stupid plan" you hate is actually saving your little whiny assed life.
You are just more bothered by the thought that somebody will get something for nothing and you think you deserve more for what you do.
