Shooting porn in Thailand is very illegal as you know. It is not necessary that you muct "know" someone or have "protection," however it does come in handy if you get caught red handed. And just to put into perspective, I know several guys who have not been caught once, yet I have been caught twice. So take that for what it's worth.

Several guys shoot there, on the fly, with nothing but luck and get away with it. There are also guys with protection from high ranking government officials, and some with just local police.

It's totally do-able to shoot there. However, if you do get caught, you very well could end up going to prison for a few years. If you think the reward is worth the risk, go for it. But know that even though Thailand is the land of pussy and fun, it would be your worst nightmare if you do get into trouble.

The biggest misconception of shooting in Thailand is that it is easy. A million hookers are there so it's cake to do. Just the opposite. Even though they may blow darts out of their pussy on stage, off stage they are SHY. Thai people are very shy at heart and it is very, very difficult to get a girl to shoot in the nude, let along a hardcore scene. Knowing the language and understanding Thai culture helps big-time.

Then there is the fact that Thai people are very nosey, so it can be difficult so shoot in a room unless it's ghetto style with no lights and shitty gear. If your flashers are seen out through the windows or from under the door or keyhole, it could mean your ass. Or not.

To sum it up... If I was fresh to shooting, I would NOT go to Thailand to shoot. I would not go to any 3rd world country to shoot until I had a good handle on model management and how to deal with situations. You need to get it down in your own country and language before you move into others.
