Two things, "failure to provide 2257" and "underage" are separate.
You can violate 2257 without having under age.
You can comply with 2257 and still have an underage because of fake ID.
No one went to jail over the Tracy Lords issue because she had provided fake ID and had fooled everyone. Is this the case here?
I hear you about fair is fair, but I can't help feeling like you are more interested in getting rid of the competition than some girls welfare.
