I am sure it would make some sales, however the days of tons of free traffic from avs programs are gone. That doesnt mean people still dont make money from avs but most who do are sending their own traffic.
Do a test with a few of the avs programs and see how much traffic you get, depending on how much work it is, it might be worth it. It can be a cumbersome task, even simply getting the avs id for hundreds of sites can take awhile. My guess is that it would be better to develop your own traffic if you really want to work with avs programs.
