I'm not a huge fan of the police. How is it invasion of privacy when it's part of their job? If you look suspicious they will run your plates. It's their job.
What did you do that pissed off the cop? Looking at it from a 3rd party, I've seen idiot kids in their cars ( I was one and grew up), doing 30plus over the speed limit (In a 35zone), driving like they were at laManns.
