Not sure if they're allowed to hide on private property. I'd check you local and state laws regarding that. I know there was a issues around here several years ago were they setup some speed traps that involved a couple cops hiding in a field with radar guns and would radio to another car.

I think most people got off because the field was private property and not county, city, or state owned
