here is some case and point for ya
I developed my own PPV site called
www.easyppv.com it has tons of my content and I sell it per clip for 4.95
now its been out a year here is what i found
its way easier to get people to join a membership site simply because they are used to that format
its harder to get new guys for ppv but once they start there is no stopping they come back all the time to buy more and more
my prediction is as time goes on and they get used to the ppv model it will convert way better (not just my site but in general)
ppv os out there but not long enough and is not that popular
heck out of all the galleries on the hun in the past 30 days for example how many where pushing ppv how many where pushing memberships? once more push ppv and surfers get exposed to it it will convert better and better
i see a real future in ppv
