Not sure of the current circulation of that mag, but it sold more copies regionally than all the competition at the time (Playboy, Penthouse etc) - basically because it *looked* amateur and printed on fairly thin paperstock (helps keep the production cost down

)
Can't say what the market is like now, but the best country for "amateur" used to be Germany, followed by the UK.
