Parents don't send their kids to fight wars. Their kids grow into adults, and choose to join the military, then whoever the Commander and Chief is decides when we need to go to war. Otherwise, the parents of the guys that died in Somalia when Clinton sent them in there without the necessary air support, would have just said no to war.
