I was just checking http://dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm and it caught my attention that .eu domains were making the cut of late:

Bisons.eu ?2,500 = $3,230 Sedo
Zwangsversteigerungen.eu (German for "foreclosures") at ?1,600 ($2,067) Sedo
Angst.eu added ?1,500 ($1,938) Sedo

hmmm seems sedo is the hotspot for dot eu's...
