Costa Rica is fine for a motorcycle tour. The roads are fairly bad in areas but more a problem for SUV's than motorcycles - but it's prob an excellent way to see the country
(The main roads are fine - it's just deep in the countryside there are some severe roads).
Belize is kinda similar, but better roads, - tho maybe someone who lives in Belize could update on this.
There are plenty hotels and places to stay on a CR tour - and they don't cost much - especially outside San Jose. It's prob better not to bother booking and just walk in - the rates will prob be cheaper.
If you end up here by motorcycle - it's worth a visit to Osa and a small town called Puerto Jimenez. The wildlife encroaches on the town and monkeys and parrots are used to people - the monkeys will walk down the main street
