I think that would be a better thread. Maybe I should start one.
I could of moved to the US anytime I liked, got family there, but why move from the land of the free, home of the brave to the the US land of the restricted home of the scared?
Eva and I were offered a job there last year and I turned it down. Issues like, spent 20 years in a country where I was worried about everytime the door bell rang, don't have that now. Cost of living, schooling, crime, standard of living, culture and quality of life.
Problem with all cultures is we are raised to appreciate different things and I simply do not appreciate what Americans appreciate.
