OK heres a good tip for ya #1 throw away every filter and wide angle lens uyou own EXCEPT maybe a circular polarizer.

The single most important thing you need to know to shoot HD that looks good is COMPOSITION. all the lighting, makeup, scrims, gels, barndoors, diffusion or whatever else you can think of will not help a poorly composed HD shot.

and whatever temptation you may have to use that fucking wide angle lens on a 16:9 HD closeup...avoid it....matter of fact you need to rethink what close up means in HD
