Just curious how many people would just up and move to the greatest country on the planet

well, if you put it that way, I could live 1 year for free whether it's in US or any other civilized country.
Personally, since I've a son born in US and living in San Francisco area it wouldn't be a big problem to move there, but I wouldn't want to. The freedom concerns are important, the fact that you can't move a finger without being tracked and noticed isn't something I feel comfortable with.
Then you have some cultural aspects, which are even more important to me: familiar and social values,
FOOD (the best argentinian restaurants in US would rank as 3rd level here, only that 20/30 times more expensive), the usual social behavior and so on. ie, here we have dinner between 9 and 11 PM. Night life starts around 2 AM and so on. You'd say that's such a little thing, but changing all your hours for a long period of time is really annoying, my limit tends to be 15/20 days and after that I end at McDonalds or the likes (btw, McDonalds is considered trash food only the kids and some teenagers like).
Ha ha, seems like I think with my stomach, lol
Add to all that life 3 or 4 times more expensive, that in certain places you're not exactly loved as a foreigner, that you'd need to leave all your friends, family, places, culture and such... I can't see a good reason to move other than you'd pay me a full year of living for free
