Perfect marriage is a illusion. I dont know the divorce rate in the US, but for example in sweden its above 60%.
A 100 years ago, it was close to 0. The view on marriage and relations are changing and will continue to do so. Im sure that in a 100 years, about 2100, its normal that youve been married 2-3 times during your lifetime (average).
So if you want to get married, you have to ask yourself what you want out from the relation btw you and your woman.
You will always get a long with the chick from start but for god sake, dont think the relation with her will be the same after a few years. If you believe that, then you have no clue.
