Stop looking at evolution as something you can observe from a perspective that puts you apart from it. Everything we do is part of it. It's not right, it's not wrong, it's evolution.

Voilą - that is the crux of our differing points-of-view. We'll have to just agree to disagree here because I am of the stance that meddling at the genetic level with other species is not evolution for that species. It's interference, with zero chance of adaptation
