It doesn't release any responsibility. These stupid individuals would like to think it does but in the end, each person is still responsible for their own actions. They may be sheep and follow others but there is a difference in listening to others and believing them and actually listening to them and doing something about it.
Most people listen, believe and continue on with their simple lives. Others listen, believe and take action. Sometimes this is good and sometimes its very bad.
