I had something similar in my baggage at the airport in Hungary about 10 years ago, I think at least 6 custom officials gathered to look at it scratching their heads - they only spoke Hungarian and German so I couldn't explain wtf that was until one of them smelled it and said "kolbassen, kolbassen" so they let me go
