Dual layer DVDs (I think all 360 games are of the dual layer dvd variety, even though they could easily fit on a single layer DVD) are more than enough to see through the lifespan of the 360. By the time the 360 is ready to be retired the games will all probably be in the same state they are in right now when compared to CD?s (one to two dual-layer dvds) and the next format will just barely be tapped into.
Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3 at 22Gigs almost fills an entire Blu-ray single layer disc. And it's the first iteration of PS3 games. I can't image to see what the next iteration brings.
