That's way too low. Anything under 3Mbit/s at 1280x720 will be lackluster.
It's HD. There isn't a way to really reduce the file size. However, a bit rate of 3-4Mbit/s will help reduce the files size while keeping the quality. We found the sweet spot to be 3.7Mbit/s for
our HD WMV movies.
