Ignorant assmongers like Labaret aside, I have met nice people of all ages, genders and nationalities online who were helpful and supportive. As a female adult webmaster, I have met many people who were shocked that I would choose this industry as a career. They seem to feel that it is the exclusive province of males; most webmasters are male.
I have noticed that at the conventions, most of the events seem to be slanted toward male interests, like the 'Players Ball'. But I don't let it bother me, it is a part of the territory..
