without knowing the location, it's impossible to tell if it's a good deal or not. Do not take advice from posters here, that's for sure. Do your research, speak to an agent, get recent closing prices in your area for similiar sized houses. Also, check land prices around your house and see what the increase in % was for properties in your area for the past year or so. Anyways, there's a lot to consider before ANYONE can tell you if it's a great price or not. There are houses here going for that price, but it's 35 minutes from Montreal, so it's all about location. Also, check the welcome tax rate, and make sure you save enough for utilities and taxes also.
