What killed the Gamecube was lack of third party support (brought on by bad business by Nintendo) and narrow minded views such as "Nintendo is for kids" ... which is clearly untrue... Nintendo scored an exclusive deal with Resident Evil on the Gamecube. Hardly a childrens game.
