It is illegal in some states and others require IDs on file as well as limit the amount you can sell over periods of time to people.

yeah, your right. i wasn't thinking of it outside the context of the recent law. washington by the way does require ID copies to buy it. i think there are state laws as well (or maybe just a fear of liability issues) because the only thing sold over the counter anywhere here is psuedoephedra and they are never bigger than 10mg.
