You can still buy ephedrine. The law is only for its use in dietary supplements. It is legal to sell in applications outside of dietary supplements. You will notice that all the supplement sites that do sell it refer to its use strictly for bronchial asthma. They will not mention anything about weight loss.
It is illegal in some states and others require IDs on file as well as limit the amount you can sell over periods of time to people.
