A client of mines told me a story about his first job at a Toyota dealership (now the biggest in the country "Boch") in Massachusetts. There were about 40 or so people interviewing for the job in one big room.

"How many of you have worked for another dealership?" one of the sales manager's asked. 15 or so people eagerly raised their hands. "Get the fuck out" the sales manager said to them. Hesitantly the 15 got up and left.

"How many of you have never sold a car in your life?" the sales manager asked next. Another 15 or so raised their hands. "Get the fuck out" the sales manager said to them.

The handful of remaining potential salesmen were made to watch "Glengarry Glenross"

My client was the only one out of forty to be hired that day. They were absolutely brutal and continued to be brutal. I won't even mention the forced etiquette classes.
