You can identify a list of suspects by finding those people who don't make threads bashing the U.S., saying Saddam is alive, or that 9/11 was a plot by Bush. From there, you can narrow it down a bit more by checking bank accounts, and country club memberships.
If you still need a litmus test after all of that, simply say "So, this gay guy walks into a bar ..." and listen for the tell-tale, "that's no bar I'D ever walk into, there, partner."
