Residents of a small Caribbean island may have thought Armageddon was upon them when a peaceful barbecue suddenly went horribly awry. As the gas powered device ran, some of the fuel apparently ignited.
The result was horrendous, with the ignition sending vast walls of fire upon the tiny, but densely populated island. The town's 1014 inhabitants desperately took cover, with many jumping into the ocean to escape the inferno.
When the smoke cleared, nearly half the island was in ruins. Close to 350 people were hurt, but incredibly, there were no fatalities.
